It’s fun to have the red, white and blue color theme for your July 4th party! It’s easy to do even when you are on a Real Food diet or special diets like Paleo and GAPS!

Most July 4th desserts involve the store bought, fructose filled desserts.

Ugh.

I can’t stomach any of that anymore. Not only are those foods filled with toxic chemicals, rancid vegetable oils, artificial sweeteners, coloring and flavorings – to me, they taste fake and make me sick.

Here are some of the fun desserts I like to serve on the 4th of July!

This is an especially important holiday, because, as Americans we all love the freedom we have in this country to be whatever and whoever we were born to be.

We need to remember that the founders of this country fought hard for their freedom, and there are still many battles that need activism.

I’m talking about food freedom, medical intervention freedom and individuality.

I would say that becoming an activist for a cause you are passionate about is one of the best things you can do for your health!
