What a busy month this has been! So many things happen in December it’s hard to keep up! As busy as I am, I still lost myself in surfing the web and have read some great blog posts this month!
For instance, Fearless Eating has a great post about taking probiotics that will really make you think! It’s not about the benefits of taking probiotics — just the opposite!
Another post that makes you think again can be found at Weed ‘Em and Reap about low-fat milk.
Natural personal care products
There have been a lot of posts recently about natural alternatives to conventional personal care and skin care products. Oh Lardy! has a great post about using a natural cough remedy which is actually a natural vaporub salve, instead of conventional cough medicine. I bet this one really works and it sounds lovely!
Go to Actual Organics and read about natural toothpaste and taking care of your teeth and gums naturally. She also has a post about relieving stress during this holiday season.
Holiday recipes
Then there are all the extra special recipes for the holidays. I think I will be trying this fermented cranberry sauce recipe just in time for New Year’s Day. And this lovely lentil stew with winter vegetables from Nourished Kitchen — and her collard greens recipe. You can’t go wrong with a recipe from Nourished Kitchen.
For my meat course I may try this Argentian paleo meat sauce from Grassfed Girl. Wow! That looks like it packs a punch!
Holiday gift ideas
And there have been many posts about holiday gift ideas, which makes it much easier to figure out what to get your loved ones.
Especially Natural Cocktail E-Book from Our Nourishing Roots — wow that sounds like fun! And DIY Organic Beauty — 50+ All-Natural, Toxin-Free Recipes That Really Work from Mommypotamus — Click here to view more details.
And, of course my very own Go Grain-Free E Course — Use coupon code HOLIDAY2012 to get 30% off.
If you are just too busy to do much cooking you can always check out the slow cooker freezer recipes from Mama and Baby Love.
