Sunday Snippets: April 12, 2015 post image

Welcome to Sunday Snippets. This is a weekly feature that allows you to take a quick peek at posts that I loved from my FAT TUESDAY carnival this past week. I’ll also summarize some posts from my blog from the past week. If you missed some or didn’t have time to read the whole post this “snippet” will give you the gist of it.

Here are some articles and recipes that I picked from FAT TUESDAY that really stood out for me. Each week I’ll be featuring some links from FAT TUESDAY so be sure to link up your best posts! If you are not a blogger, this is a place to connect with fascinating writings from all over the blogosphere!

Register here for the Functional Medicine Summit! This one is really great!

Unfortunately, you go to the doctor, he/she spends less than 5 minutes with you, and you walk out with a prescription medication to treat your symptoms.   The obvious problem with that approach is that masking symptoms doesn’t solve why you were sick in the first place.

Now if you want free access to the brain power of over 33 other doctors, nutritionists, and exercise experts who think the same way, go and register for the free online Functional Health Summit!

Get ready for the Ultimate Homemaking Bundle coming next week! It has 76 ebooks, 6 ecourses, 1 audio download, 3 online conferences and 14 printable packs. Wow!

I just watched your vid on making home made yogurt, and I’m trying to get in touch with you about the 24 hour brewing time. I purchased the Yogourmet maker, along with a dimmer switch. I want to know should I test the temp of the water during the 24 hours to see if the temp is okay? I don’t want to overheat it, and even with a dimmer switch set in the middle, I don’t want to mess up this first batch. It is IMPERATIVE that I get live cultures! I know it’s not an exact science but I would really appreciate a little help with this. You could inbox me at or answer here. I’ll try to stay up to date with your blog. Thanks, Sheila
