It’s always fun to have some red, white and blue dishes for your company on the holiday. It gets into the spirit of the celebration!
Most holiday desserts involve the store bought, fructose filled desserts.
I can’t stomach any of that anymore. Not only are those foods filled with toxic chemicals, rancid vegetable oils, artificial sweeteners, coloring and flavorings – to me, they taste fake and make me sick.
If you are on a healing diet you have to be extra careful at holiday gatherings. It is always a good idea to bring a dish to share that is on your diet.

This is an especially important holiday, because, as Americans we all love the freedom we have in this country to be whatever and whoever we were born to be.
We need to remember that the founders of this country fought hard for their freedom, and there are still many battles that need activism.
I’m talking about food freedom, medical intervention freedom and individuality.
I would say that becoming an activist for a cause you are passionate about is one of the best things you can do for your health!
