What would a Thanksgiving meal be without stuffing? This Paleo Stuffing is made without any bread at all, yet is still satisfies the desire for stuffing!

Stuffing was always the most important part of the Thanksgiving meal for me. I just craved the stuffing. Bread, bread and more bread.

Other recipes for grain free stuffing involve using a grain free bread like this recipe for Grain Free Thanksgiving Stuffing. I do love this recipe too.

It’s actually easy to make a delicious grain free stuffing (without bread) that everyone will enjoy! Eaten with savory roast turkey and gravy, it is a side that adds to a festive meal!


Recipe: Paleo Stuffing (AIP)

  1. Heat the fry pan and add the oil to heat up (medium heat)
  2. Chop the onion, celery root and Daikon radish into small cubes
  3. Saute the onions, celery root and Daikon for 6 – 8 minutes or until translucent and remove to a bowl
  4. Saute the mushrooms until they are soft and remove to the bowl
  5. Add the chopped meat to the pan and cook until pink is gone
  6. Add the chopped meat to the vegetables and mix, mixing in the minced garlic
  7. Add the dried spices, raisins (or cranberries) and chicken stock and mix
  8. Bake on 300º F for 20 – 30 minutes stirring it once or twice during this time
