Recipe: Grain Free Cinnamon Breakfast Bar

  1. In the food processor, add the apple and puree
  2. Add the eggs, honey and ghee or butter and mix
  3. Add the salt, baking soda, cinnamon and coconut flour and mix
  4. The batter should be thick
  5. Prepare the baking dish with the parchment paper and grease very generously with coconut oil (lots of it!)
  6. Pour the batter into the pan and smooth as best you can
  7. Sprinkle more cinnamon of top of the batter
  8. Bake at 325 degrees F for approximately 22 – 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean and it is browned on top (may take longer depending on the size of the apple you used)
  9. Gently detach the bread from the pan with a spatula and let cool for a few minutes
  10. With the pizza wheel, cut down the middle of the length and the down the middle of the width and then three section in each half
  11. Remove with spatula and let cool on a rack
