Recipe: Grain Free Cinnamon Breakfast Bar

- In the food processor, add the apple and puree
- Add the eggs, honey and ghee or butter and mix
- Add the salt, baking soda, cinnamon and coconut flour and mix
- The batter should be thick
- Prepare the baking dish with the parchment paper and grease very generously with coconut oil (lots of it!)
- Pour the batter into the pan and smooth as best you can
- Sprinkle more cinnamon of top of the batter
- Bake at 325 degrees F for approximately 22 – 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean and it is browned on top (may take longer depending on the size of the apple you used)
- Gently detach the bread from the pan with a spatula and let cool for a few minutes
- With the pizza wheel, cut down the middle of the length and the down the middle of the width and then three section in each half
- Remove with spatula and let cool on a rack
