Are you frustrated with commercial ices that have toxic colorings and additives? Here is a quick, child (and adult) friendly treat for a hot summer day that can be prepared in minutes. These fresh berry coconut ice pops are so refreshing!
There is no need to expose your kids to the additives and neurotoxins found in store bought ices.
It is so easy to make your own ices from fresh fruit and homemade ice cream.
With just a little planning you can make these incredibly refreshing treats that are dairy free, additive free and added sugar free.
While there is a little naturally occurring fructose in the berries and the ice cream has a little honey, they are not overly sweet.
The popsicle molds are also a good way to exert control over snack size. The molds I used actually held only 1.5 ounces and yet the snack was still very satisfying.
These can be made ahead of time and stored in the freezer.
