Today is the one month anniversary of the release of Real Food Forager and I just want to thank all my readers for your support. For me, it has been a whirlwind of learning activity of new technology skills in all the areas I have explored: blogging, photography and video.
Thanks to my dear husband and son, I have been able to accomplish so much in one month! And thanks to you, esteemed readers, for all the comments and feedback on what I am posting. I love the teaching aspect of the videos and recipes and I hope you enjoy how I am presenting them. I know that I have a lot to say about food politics, the food supply and health care.
I will be going into much more detail about how to incorporate traditional foods into your diet with the goal of improving your health. There will be more video demonstrations as I feel a picture is worth a thousand words. When I first started my real food journey I didn’t know a lot about baking or cooking. There was a huge learning curve for me and it would have helped if I would have been able to see the final product or see how it was cooked. So that is what I hope to offer to you.
I invite you to continue with me on this adventure towards better health. Please leave comments on the posts or email me through the contact page with comments or questions. Let me know what you want to read about. Once I get started writing about real food it is difficult for me to stop. If it is a topic you are also passionate about, tweet about it, facebook it, we need to get the word out to protect our food supply!

Congrats on one month! I would be interested in learning more about recipes/foods that keep blood sugar levels reduced.
Thanks
Hi Barbara,
Well you certainly came to the right place! That is a topic I will be addressing shortly. In general, people who follow whole food diets automatically cut out all refined foods, especially the starches and sugars. Just that change will help moderate blood sugar levels so that they stay steady. If you don’t eat foods that require huge surges of insulin (sugars and starches), you will not have a problem with blood sugar highs and lows.
I am so glad I found your site. Just want you to know how much I appreciate what you do and your web site.
Hi Judy,

I’ve really enjoyed your site too! I am just getting started on my real food journey, so it’s so nice to have a pro to learn from.
