Welcome to Sunday Snippets. This is a weekly feature that allows you to take a quick peek at posts that I loved from my FAT TUESDAY carnival this past week. I’ll also summarize some posts from my blog from the past week. If you missed some or didn’t have time to read the whole post this “snippet” will give you the gist of it.
Here are some articles and recipes that I picked from FAT TUESDAY that really stood out for me. Each week I’ll be featuring some links from FAT TUESDAY so be sure to link up your best posts! If you are not a blogger, this is a place to connect with fascinating writings from all over the blogosphere!

great links! i can’t wait to read about the avocado popsicles!
Thanks, Jill, for highlighting my post on purslane. I haven’t had a chance to visit as much lately because harvest season has been completely crazy. I was just thinking about it, and I realized I’ve processed over 140 pounds of tomatoes already, and I’ve still got at least 50 more to go. I cooked down 30 just today, along with making two batches of elderberry wine (post on that coming soon). It’s good to be so busy, but tiring!
Thanks for including my Healthy School Lunch post. I just got some Lunchbots so I’ll be posting my review of this neat looking lunch container as soon as the kids get a chance to try them out.
Looking forward to looking up whipped body butter. Sounds good enough to eat.
I can’t wait to try some of these recipes. I have to say that the Avocado Chocolate Mint Popsicle Sticks sounds so yummy
