Have you seen this gorgeous book yet? Foraging and Feasting, A Field Guide and Wild Food Cookbook. I just HAD to have it — after all, I am a forager. Sort of. However, these gals are the real deal. They know everything there is to know about what to forage and how to use it in recipes. The drawings are from Wendy Hollender, a botanical artist extraordinaire. Dina Falconi is a fantastic, well known herbalist who uses natural products to create food as well as body care items.
I joined the Kickstarter Program for the publication of this book and they did very well with it. It seems everyone wants a copy! I was so excited to see the amazing illustrations. They are both so knowledgeable about foraging for wild plants and how to use them. I can’t wait to try some recipes from the book.
